Archive 826

Archive 826

Archive 826 is a conceptual brand and visual identity project set in Washington, D.C., a city layered with symbolism, geometry, and hidden histories. The project imagines 826 as a secret bureau of stories, an archive where maps, codes, and mysterious visual fragments guide young writers through discovery. Leaning into the city’s reputation for secrecy and structure, the design introduces an identity that feels both playful and encrypted, inviting students to uncover meaning as they read and write. Through branding, packaging, and interactive elements, Archive 826 transforms the learning environment into a space where storytelling becomes an act of decoding, making literacy feel adventurous and empowering.

Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects

Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects

Scientific Study of Unidentified Flying Objects is a publication project where the written content and imagery were provided by the instructor, while the full design execution was carried out independently. The work focused on layout composition, typographic hierarchy, and visual pacing to present dense scientific material in a clear and engaging format. The project shows how design decisions can influence the reading of complex archival content. Through careful use of grids, image placement, and consistent rhythm, the material was transformed into a structured narrative. The outcome highlights the role of design not only in aesthetics but also in accessibility and interpretation, demonstrating how layout and typography shape the experience of research-based texts.

Arts & Scraps

Arts & Scraps

Arts & Scraps is a mobile app concept for Arts & Scraps, a nonprofit that reuses industrial scraps for art and education. The project focused on improving access to materials, workshops, and resources through a simple and community driven platform. Research showed the need for clear navigation and spaces where users could share and learn. The prototype included a catalog for materials, a hub for events, and educational tools for families and educators. The outcome highlights how design can expand a nonprofit’s reach beyond its physical space, balancing user needs with organizational goals and showing how digital tools can build stronger community connections.

Memory Capsule

Memory Capsule

Memory Capsule is a digital archive that transforms photo booth strips into an interactive experience. The project reimagines collected photo strips as a scrollable interface for both mobile and desktop, mirroring the action of pulling a strip from a booth. The design focuses on creating an intimate and familiar way to revisit memories, using a simple structure that highlights images while maintaining ease of use. The project demonstrates how digital tools can preserve personal archives and translate physical keepsakes into accessible, everyday interactions.
