Snowy Castle
This is a snowy castle landscape environment I created from an existing concept. I focused on atmosphere, lighting, and large scale environmental composition. A major part of the workflow involved building and applying tiling textures to efficiently create detailed surfaces while maintaining performance and visual consistency across the environment. I used Maya for modeling, Substance painter and Photoshop for material creation and texturing, and Unreal Engine for scene construction and rendering. Much of my attention went toward complex lighting, using cold tones and environmental fog to emphasize the atmosphere and guide the viewer’s eye through the scene. This project helped me better understand how lighting, materials, and modular workflows work together to create a cohesive and believable environment in real time.
