In desperate search of a cure for his mothers illness Harvey reactivates a small robot within a long abandoned medical lab. After some convincing, the robot named EC0 agrees to travel with Harvey to study his mother's sickness in hopes of a cure. EC0 takes a large vial with an unusual plant inside of it, this plant was genetically modified to adapt and kill most bacteria and viruses(in an attempt to cure cancer). Along their travels EC0 learns to appreciate Harvey's company, and learns more about himself.

Bell is a typical citizen of the Kingdom of Abyss, simply just fighting to survive in whatever way necessary. She lives her life day by day as a scavenger, looking for any fallen treasures that came from the world above. Bell has always wondered what life is like outside of her deep prison and in the kingdom above, her only glimpse ever being the barrier that keeps the two worlds separated. One day Bell decides to travel up to the barrier in hopes to get another look at the world above only to come across an artifact that changes her life forever. With her newfound powers she and a small rag-tag team of adventurers journey though the world above to find out the true history of their two kingdoms all while a banished prince hunts them in the shadows.

Alara and Bot take shelter in a (unknown to them) abandoned Nuclear Facility during a blizzard. After seeing that Alara is in desperate need of rations, Bot decides to scour the facility in search of supplies for her. However after coming across signs of distress from a large doorway Bot explores further to make sure there is no danger within the facility, however as Bot walks further down the catwalk their systems start to malfunction only to find a Geiger Counter that reads dangerously unsafe radiation levels. After looking up Bot sees the remnants of a blown reactor and immediately runs back to Alara to leave the facility, however the radiation Alara has already been exposed to makes her a dead man walking.
