Sometimes I feel as though I deprive myself of thought. Having something always playing on my phone to drown out the possibility of self-reflection. I am taking a step back to think about and internalize what it means to be me. Through indirectly photographing places I have core memories of, I am starting to think about how I got here. As the past gets farther away it begins to haze and morph. I aim to embrace that, while also being grateful for the moments I have now. This project explores themes of friendship, existentialism, winter gloom, and memory.
