Considering that photography is an expensive career due to the cost of all the equipment, I created a lens using potatoes (which are considerably less expensive). It functions like a pinhole camera, letting the light in through a minuscule hole to travel through the potato and into the camera sensor. I like to call the final outcome of this process a little “starchy” but it all adds to the character of the photographs. My goal is to show that a photographer does not need the new, fancy equipment to make expressive and interesting imagery, you only need the motivation and passion to create!

My dogs are a recurring motif in many of my works because they are so undeniably loving and beautiful. I like to focus on the beauty of my animals as well as the relationship between my family and pets. Puppy Pow(d)er features S\'more and her explosively energetic personality.

Emotions are trapped inside of our bodies and only revealed through physical behavior or words. I want to try and show how it would look if emotions existed outside of our body. Using fiber optic lights and long exposures, I created images that represent the internal threads of our minds as auras.
