Potato Daze
Potato Daze
Considering that photography is an expensive career due to the cost of all the equipment, I created a lens using potatoes (which are considerably less expensive). It functions like a pinhole camera, letting the light in through a minuscule hole to travel through the potato and into the camera sensor. I like to call the final outcome of this process a little “starchy†but it all adds to the character of the photographs. My goal is to show that a photographer does not need the new, fancy equipment to make expressive and interesting imagery, you only need the motivation and passion to create!
