In kpop things called \"Seasons Greetings\" are popular, they are Christmas and New Years merchandise boxes for groups. My current favorite group is Stray Kids so I wanted to make a concept for a Valentines day merch box similar to a Seasons Greetings. It both includes types of merch that the company often includes as well as types that fans often make. I also produced and mailed out sets of the desert stickers to friends and followers. Characters belong to JYPE and Stray Kids.
I have always loved fairies and found the ways people imagine them very interesting, from the bug-like creatures of Spiderwick to the tiny humans of Tinkerbell. I wanted to explore this range of interpretations when trying to come up with my own version of fairies. To do this I chose a base inspiration (in this case: wasp) and created four designs on a scale from most bug-like to most human-like.
November 2023 I created a set of winter-themed stickers of the mascots for the kpop group Stray Kids, to send out to friends and followers on social media. I ended up being the same for Valentines 2024, and those stickers can be seen under the \"Stray Kids Characters belong to JYPE and Stray Kids.
At my internship at Peninsulas LLC. I have been tasked multiple times with making pin designs, both using my original art and repurposing work made by other members of the team. The set of six bird pins was my first solo project at my internship, and while I asked for their opinions often, my supervisors mainly left me in charge of the whole process, from concept to drawing to production. These pins were made for Peninsulas and are now sold in their shop. I was then tasked with a similar project, but these pins were for one of their clients, the 2024 Wolverine Workshop. I designed and drew these pins in one day for the client, with minimal input from my supervisors.
This is a scene illustrated from Niel Gaiman\'s Short story \"The Case of the Four and Twenty Blackbirds.\" In this scene Cock Robin is shot by an unknown assailant while exchanging information with the unsuspecting main character, Jack Horner. This piece is a combination of colored pencil, watercolor, and digital art.
