Building A Community Experience

Building A Community Experience

Due to covid and the ongoing pandemic, it has become harder to interact with physical organizations and community spaces. The objective of this project was to use technology to create an experience that benefits an organization, while also giving consideration to the end-user and community being served. The non-profit I chose was a dog shelter in Oxford Michigan, it was a place I had adopted my own dog and have donated to.

Veterans Hospital Rebrand

Veterans Hospital Rebrand

This was a sponsored project working with the Veterans Hospital in Detroit Michigan on how to give the veterans who go there a better and more welcoming experience. Our mission was to show that we promise to value your voice, we promise to know your story and we promise to guide you through every step of the journey. We wanted to create a empathetic, personalized and intuitive brand system.

Tulip Time Festival Poster Series

Tulip Time Festival Poster Series

These posters are based off of the Tulip Time Festival which is held in Holland, Michigan. Tulip festivals are held in locations that were largely inhabited by Dutch settlers. Throughout the last 92 years, people have gathered to enjoy Tulip Time. I wanted to create posters that wouldI inform tourists and locals of all ages about the Tulip Time festival that honors Dutch culture, with beautiful flowers, many events inside of it, and many different things that they are able to do at an 8 day long event.

Designer + Context Book Design

Designer + Context Book Design

There are so many important designers in this world that have influenced the next generations and the future of their industries. This project was focused around choosing a designer and creating a design publication, going through the history of the designer and their work to create something that will inform the viewers of their design. I chose Stefan Sagamiester and created a book based off of him, his influence as a designer, and his design work. I did research on him personally, and the variety of work he has created, from books to exhibitions.
