A series of graphite self portraits in which I am portrayed with my younger self, created from taking reference and doing photobashing. Moments With Myself explores the grief I feel when looking back on my childhood and mourning both who I was as a child and the way in which life always felt so much easier. It also dips its toes into my feelings on impending motherhood and the maternal instincts I sometimes feel, now being closer to possibly becoming a mother than I am to having been a child. Moments With Myself is one of my most favorite projects I've created while being so different from my recent bodies of work.
