For this project I had to create an accessory that was inspired by museum pieces from the Henry Ford Museum. I became inspired by different retro museum pieces such as furniture, games consoles, glass paper weights and more. From that inspiration I chose to design and make a pair patterned ankle boots with a zipper going down the front and back.
For this project I had to act as if I were the creative director for the luxury Italian brand Versace. I had to go through different ideation processes for each product I created as well as creating a mood board and prototyping. For this project I had to create a five piece wearable collection. My final pieces consisted of a pair of moon boot inspired platform boots, a crossbody bag, a faux fur bucket hat, a coin pure, and an AirPods case.
For this product I had to create a functional accessory that was also a product. With those concepts in mind I thought a wallet was appropriate. I created a reptile textured wallet with a detachable coin purse on the back. In this project I had to go through not only a fashion accessory designers ideations process but the ideation process as a product designer as well.
For this project I had to create a fully functional bag. I decided to create a multi textiled backpack made from brocade fabric and black leather cowhide. During my ideation process I came up with three different prototypes and the third one was an almost replica of my final.
