This piece was originally created as a second style illustration, where I tackled \"underwater trees\" in concept. Intended for 2D styled TV-Animation, I envisioned a sea serpent or perhaps a lost swimmer discovering this serene location.
For my Vis Dev Environment Intensive, to start off we had to make \"containers\" under the vague concept of light vs dark. I interpreted this into mystical ceremonial vases, or jars, that faeries may potentially use.
A simple painting study of these two seagulls found, in what I think, was a chill conversation about bread.
