Handpainted Sentinel Sword

I decided I really wanted a project where I could take a lot of time to hone in my handpainted texturing skills, so when I found this magical concept by Aaron Chae, I felt like I needed to bring it to life in 3D. I made sure to carve out a lot of time for the texturing portion of this prop, and I feel super proud of my materialization and hand painted skills I put into this sword. As with every completed piece, I have learned so much and feel like I took a huge step in the right direction in terms of my texture work.

Beacon of the Holy Light- WoW Student Art Contest 25-26

"Seated deep within the Gardens of Eternity lies the Beacon of the Holy Light, a sacred destination for travelers and pilgrims alike. Venerated for its high, pure, holy energy, travelers often leave offerings and pray to The Light in search of a deeper, divine connection." My submission for the 2025-2026 World of Warcraft Student Art contest! This was my first ever fully hand-painted environment and I am so proud of everything I accomplished with this project. I truly improved in every aspect of the pipeline, from modeling to sculpting, and most importantly my texturing, I am so incredibly happy with the outcome. I love this piece and I am so excited to see how I will continue to grow in future projects!

I knew I wanted to make this piece feel welcoming and luxurious, what better than with a cozy tea lounge! I had a lot of fun set-dressing this piece and experimenting with how I can convey a story through my environments, and overall I feel super happy with how this turned out. I also took this opportunity to expand more upon my technical skills, such as modular kit creation, specifically with node-based techniques in Substance Designer and Unreal, as well as utilizing master materials and instances for an incredibly efficient work flow. I really enjoyed watching this piece come to life, and I hope you all love it too! I'm incredibly excited to keep improving, and I'm looking forward to projects to come.

Night Fountain Diorama

I created this project as a way to get back in to the swing of 3D art while also challenging myself to learn some new tools and techniques, such as Zspheres and water shaders. It was a lot of fun playing with the composition of this piece, as well as strengthening my foliage creation skills. A special thank you to Daphne Fiato, who mentored me throughout this summer on foliage creation as well as other hand painted techniques. I'm super happy with the cozy night time feel of this piece, and I'm looking forward to further honing my skills as a 3D artist.

My goal for this project was to really push my hand painted textures and I'm really happy with how everything turned out! I learned so much from this, and I'm really excited to utilize more of these skills in my workflow down the line. Based on a concept by Kate Fedorchuk.
