The Solemate

The Solemate

As a brand, LUXOME prides itself on delivering the best in comfort. They create soothing sanctuaries with the sustainable performance materials, precise craftsmanship, and acute attention to the wellness needs of their supporters. Masters of the work-life balance, these “Well-beings” live active and fulfilled lives. They prioritize self-care activities and seek grounding spaces to decompress and rejuvenate. They value products with wellness and personal care attributes, are sensible to environmental sustainability, and are crafted with premium materials. The Solemate slipper is the comfort companion to the existing LUXOME products. Aesthetically aligned with the brand, this CMF strategy evokes tranquility and openness with signature knit blends, soft contouring textures, and lightweight materials. The introduction of aerogel foam, one of the world’s lightest solid material, this design concept transports wearers to a weightless, serene, and cozy sanctuary.

Crue

The objective of this CCS studio project was to research a niche demographic and create a branded product that appeals to that market. The Essential Travel Gear Bag is designed for the rebel photographer who is driven by a bold sense of passion to use their talents to spread awareness. The small carry bag is manufactured using recycled materials and is optimized to be lightweight, yet durable enough to hold a camera and any essential gear.

Detroit Spaces

Detroit Spaces

This project was a studio collaboration between the College for Creative Studies and 3M Company. The challenge was to design a commercial space that explored the future of materials. Our team created the Detroit Visitor Center, a high-tech information center located at Campus Martius. Conscious of health and sustainability trends, the key materials actively reduced the spread of bacteria and have a low carbon impact on the environment. The 3M film-treated windows create an inviting openness flush with colors inspired by city statues to foster community for visitors and residents.
