Acrylic on canvas, 11 x 17", 2024. I wanted to create a cityscape of a combination of traditional Korean architecture and modern buildings. The people are clothed in fusion versions of Hanbok, flying on vehicles over towering skyscrapers that are seemingly composed of individual buildings stacked up ontop each other, modernizing as the layers increase. In this metropolis, people live in a mix of different timelines although they coexist in the same space.

Created with digital print, ink and markers. (18 x 24) I initially had the idea of a self-sustained city built within its own enclosed walls; inspired by a dream I had when I was young.
