VOTE LOCAL

VOTE LOCAL

#WHYVOTE USA is a design project aimed at increasing political participation and educating young voters about the importance of local elections. Over the course of three weeks, we developed a campaign that encourages new voters to care about their local communities by highlighting the idea that "big change starts small." Many young voters feel overwhelmed or disconnected when faced with voting decisions, especially at the local level. Our goal was to create a campaign that uses nostalgic, everyday imagery—like neighborhood houses and picket fences—to remind new voters that real change often starts at home. By presenting relatable visuals from everyday life, the campaign seeks to inspire new voters to take action, get informed, and understand the power of their vote in shaping the local community. We created cutouts of houses and fences to have a simple look to our simple aproach “change starts at home”. We also found inspiration in riso style prints and artwork, the hand made feel it looks more human. This project tested the ability of simple making. This was really important to come up with a direction quick and not drown in endless ideas. The three week deadline created a sense of confidence from moving quick from research to ideation. IMPRINTED

Imprinted is a deeply personal zine that serves as a creative space to honor and celebrate the important people who have shaped my life. Through a blend of visuals, text, and storytelling, this project captures the unique imprints these individuals have left on me—moments of connection, inspiration, and growth. Each page of Imprinted reflects the mosaic of relationships that make up my world, celebrating not only their impact on me but also the beauty of human connection. This zine is a tribute to the bonds that inspire, challenge, and support me, offering a glimpse into the collective story of those I hold dear. This project aims to preserve these imprints, reminding us of the profound influence people have on our journeys and inviting others to reflect on their own connections.

CD&S REBRAND

CD&S REBRAND

Rooted in the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement, CCS Communication Design & Strategy celebrates the intersection of thought, creativity, and craftsmanship. In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven design landscape, our campaign re-centers the narrative on the handmade, tactile processes that define our department. With the mantra "We think. We play. We make." As our guiding principle, this campaign is designed to highlight the vibrant, whimsical, and diverse work of our community while engaging craft-focused high schoolers who value a hands-on approach to design.

Lakes of Fire

Lakes of Fire

Lakes of Fire is a Michigan tourism event that I want to promote because of its creative way to promote community. I created a set of four posters that highlight the changes of Lakes of Fire. The dancing poster prompts the viewer to "get moving." This poster uses different layered imagery to emulate the motion and explore the diverse community of this festival. Using four bold and eye-catching colors to give the feeling of different moments in time.
