A sponsored project through collaboration between Carhartt and the College for Creative Studies follows a complete design story of sustainability: to take reclaimed garments and/or material seconds previously considered unusable and innovate new silhouettes and treatments for application to products and environments. Create concepts and a “unique narrative†by exploring new design opportunities from the “reuse†of materials and garments destined for landfill.
