In January, 2024. General Dynamics sponsored Studio at CCS. The brief was to develop a Versatile Military Logistics Vehicle (VLMV) that can travel at high speed on the surface of a body of water, transition from a submersible or water surface to beach landing, and continue with land mobility. Students were also tasked with developing UI/UX interface for the robotic operation mode.
In September, 2023 I was given the opportunity to pick any brand and design a new innovative vehicle as my thesis project. I chose Rivian because I believe they embody the adventurous lifestyle. My concept centered around designing an new adventure vehicle that could allow you to autonomously, or semi-autonomously enjoy enjoying long road trips.
In January, 2023. John Deere sponsored a studio with CCS. The brief was to design an agricultural, construction, or forestry vehicle for the near future, to the year 2100. The students were given a challenge to think outside the box. What does the future of Agriculture look like? I elected to take my project to the sands of MARS and envision an autonomous vehicle that could serve as an agricultural tool in the harshest of climates.
