The goal of this piece was to create a Modular environment Kit that combined trim sheets, hero assets, and modular assets to create an environment that was optimized but felt lived in.
I was inspired by traditional sailors\\\' tools, this one in particular was used to navigate the seas using the north star and other constellations as points of reference. This piece was a turning point in my work, I feel like I really uncovered my love for PBR textures and a better understanding of the game art pipeline.
This piece was heavily inspired by the shrine designs in Assassin\\\'s Creed Valhalla. I pushed myself to go through the stages of creating a game-ready asset in 1 week and this was the result. I learned a lot about materialization and the tools Vikings would have had access to in this time period. I loved combining real history with the fantasy elements of the assassins creed trilogy and I love how it came out in this piece.
