UX/UI DESIGN Food waste is a big problem. Each year 108 billion pounds of food is wasted in the United States. Due to people being busy and a lack of education, food that could normally be donated gets thrown in a landfill. My solution to this problem is design a user interface to make donating simple. Deed has partnered up with Amazon to make the picking up easy too.
SERVICE DESIGN This project is the result of a 4 month collaboration with members of Jefferson Chalmers, a neighborhood in Detroit, MI. This community faces constant flooding, and no real system before, during or after a flood. My group and I designed a service blueprint for before and during flood emergencies.
