Wailing

This project was inspired by the Western Wall in Israel. The goal of this project is to raise awareness for anti-Semitism and educate others on the religious persecution that the Jewish community still experiences. Its imperative that people learn about anti-Semitism to create social change, respect individualism and approach others with cultural sensitivity.

This project reflected one\\\'s thoughts on gender fluidity. The idea that all men are masculine, and all women are feminine - is far from true. In some cases, yes this may be true, but for other it is quite different. This project represented the notion that it is acceptable to be a masculine woman, or a feminine man. One\\\'s gender identity and presence or lack or femininity or masculinity are not related. One should be free to express oneself and be embraced by others. The freedom to be whom we wish is the greatest freedom of all. This project entailed creating a series of two posters that explore two sides of the gender theme.

Hallowe\\\'en in Greenfield Village

Hallowe\\\'en in Greenfield Village

This poster was designed to promote the legendary Halloween celebration put into production at Greenfield Village. Every year, they throw special events during the Halloween season for both adults and kids. Costumes are welcome, and it is a festive and enjoyable event for all. I wanted to capture the essence and spirit of Halloween in an artistic way - utilizing the classic Halloween colors of black, white, and orange. I added texture to the font to further emulate a spooky vibe. Greenfield Village is older and historical, it naturally has a bit of a spooky vibe itself - I wanted to communicate this through the font choice. I selected words relating to Halloween but also related to the activities put on by Greenfield Village during the month of October. I made sure to include the dates as well, as any good advertisement for a special event would.
