Bradbury Thompson

Bradbury Thompson

For this project, I researched a famous graphic designer, Bradbury Thompson, and his body of work. I then made this book to display Thompson’s work and educate the reader on his design career. I aimed to reflect Bradbury Thompson’s methods in the design of this book, thus making it an embodiment of Thompson himself.

Sprouts 826

Sprouts 826

Sprouts is a fictional produce market I created and branded. It is intended to be an extension of 826 National, a nonprofit organization that teaches literacy to youths in the United States. Every 826 building has a storefront unique to its community, so I made Sprouts unique to Creston, a neighborhood in Grand Rapids, MI.

Restorative Death

Restorative Death

Restorative Death is an exploration of the environmentally damaging aspects of death. My partner Rachel Kuehnal and I focused on mycelium and how it could forge a sustainable alternative for the death industry.

Detroit VA

Detroit VA

For this group project, we were tasked with branding the Detroit VA Medical Center. As of 2023, the Medical Center lacked good branding, way-finding, and communication with patients. We wanted to give Detroit VA a memorable identity that aligned with the VA’s brand. We also wanted to make the patients’ experience as accessible and pleasant as possible. Group members: Ben Pahl, Nathan Hanks, Christine Peruski

SK Interiors

SK Interiors

When I worked at HLK with seven other interns, we built the SK Interiors brand from scrap. My copywriter, Catherine Butler, and I were the only creatives on said team. While designing SK Interior’s brand, my main goal was to highlight the company’s elegance while maintaining its approachability and warmth.
